Aqualeak, a leading provider of flow and sensor-based water leak detection and prevention systems for residential and commercial property, is pleased to announce the launch of its new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar, accredited by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
The first seminar course, ‘Understanding water leak detection and prevention’, has been designed to provide an overview of everything customers need to know about an area of the property sector that is becoming increasingly prevalent and in demand.
The learning aims and objectives of the new seminar are to better understand:
- What is driving the growing demand for water leak detection
- The different types of water leak detector technology, their respective applications and how escapes of water are detected
- How a modular water leak detection system is configured and installed
- The outputs and actions of a water leak detection system
- The benefits of having effective water leak detection
- Practical considerations that help achieve best practice water leak detection system design
Presented by Aqualeak’s expert technical consultants, these one-hour seminars provide delegates with key advice, insight and support for a range of audiences, including Mechanical & Electrical engineers, specifiers, architects, consultants and anyone involved in new-build construction or retrofit projects.
The one-hour seminars, which are free of charge, can be delivered at a location of the customer’s choice or hosted at Aqualeak’s headquarters near Chippenham, Wiltshire. Online seminars are also available upon request.
Commenting on the launch of the new CPD seminar, Steve Woods, Managing Director of Aqualeak, said: “We have seen a significant increase in the level of interest in water leak detection and prevention systems coming from the construction and property management sectors. There is a clear demand to develop a better understanding of the technology to enable them to talk knowledgeably with their end clients on the most effective solutions to protect their assets from water damage. This CPD seminar provides the informative overview they are looking for and provides delegates with the opportunity to get specific advice and insight on particular projects. Having the CPD accredited by CIBSE also provides attendees with the assurance that the content they are receiving is high quality and of industry standard. We are also exploring other topics that we can develop CPD seminars on and will react to the demand that we see from our customers.”
