We are delighted to announce that Aqualeak has been approved as an Industrial Associate member of the Society of Public Health Engineers (SoPHE), a sub-group of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
SoPHE aims to provide a higher profile and focus for public health engineers within CIBSE. The SoPHE Industrial Associates program exists to develop closer links and working between the Society and a broad range of organisations involved in the public health engineering industry.
As an Industrial Associate, we will work in collaboration with the Society and other members to share our knowledge and technical expertise in the area of water leak detection, culminating in the development of future resources. These resources are used to support initiatives and innovations that have a direct relationship to the betterment of the public health engineering industry. This, in turn, encourages the use of best practice in areas such as sustainability, health and safety, environmental quality and work efficiencies, recruitment, education and other matters of concern to the industry.

“We are really pleased to have become an Industrial Associate of SoPHE, after going through an approval and election process. We are always looking for ways in which to share our knowledge and experience in water leak detection to help inform developers, consultant engineers, specifiers and contractors, whether this be through our CPD seminar or other technical materials. Becoming an Industrial Associate of SoPHE is another way in which we can help educate on what is an area of increasing interest for new build projects, largely driven by the demands of property insurers as they look to mitigate the risk of significant water damage. Our involvement will allow us to contribute to shaping best practice and technical approach in our area of expertise, for the benefit of public health engineers. We also have the opportunity to develop ourselves, by learning from other specialists in related areas of building services.”
