Sensor Based Water Leak Detection Systems
Sensor based water leak detection works by using one or more of spot sensors, probes and cable/distance measuring cable, to identify water pooling. When water is detected, this information is fed back to a central control panel which will act to stop water flow and/or raise an alarm. Sensor-based water leak alarm systems can be single or multi-zone. Single- zone systems monitor one specific area, while a multi-zone system can monitor up to 500 separate areas.
Single Zone Water Leak Detector Systems
AquaTek
- Entry-level water leak detector system, designed for residential and small commercial applications
- When a leak is detected, a localised audio-visual alarm is initiated
- A signal to a BMS can also be triggered via a relay
- Can connect to sensor cables, probes and pads
- Monitors distances of up to 30 metres from the panel
Example applications: Multiple tea points, small and medium-sized server rooms and/or combined UPS storage areas, hidden pipework and water storage tanks.

AquaTraq
- Designed to identify and minimise water leaks in sensitive areas where high value equipment and/or data is present
- When the water leak sensor finds water, a localised audio-visual alarm is initiated; automatic text messages can also be sent via a SMS system
- A signal to a BMS can also be triggered via a relay
- Can connect to sensor cables, probes and pads; users are alerted to any faults with sensor equipment, including cable damage and broken connections
- Can connect to a solenoid valve, enabling automatic water shut off in the event of a leak Monitors distances of up to 100m from the panel
- Battery backup is available, allowing the system to remain functional for up to 10 hours
Example applications: Archive rooms, electrical switch rooms, boiler houses, plant rooms and small data centres

Multi-Zone Water Leak Detector Systems
AquaTek 4
- Our compact, entry-level, sensor based water leak detection system, designed for residential and small commercial applications
- Monitors up to four separate detection zones, over a distance of up to 30 metres from the panel
- When a water leak is detected, an audio-visual alarm is initiated to indicate which zone is affected
- A signal to a BMS can also be triggered via a relay
Individual zone relays can connect to solenoid valves, enabling automatic water shut off to the affected zone to make sure that any water damage is minimised.
Example applications: Multiple tea points, small and medium-sized server rooms, combined UPS storage areas, hidden pipework and water storage tanks.

GWD
- The GWD water leak alarm is designed to detect water leaks in sensitive areas where high value equipment and/or data is present
- Ideal for monitoring up to eight individual zones
- When the leak detector is triggered, an audio-visual alarm is initiated and the water leak alarm panel shows you where it is.
- Can connect to water leak sensor cables, probes and pads; users are alerted to any faults with sensor equipment, including cable damage and broken connections
- A signal to a BMS can also be triggered via a relay
- Can connect to a solenoid valve, enabling automatic water shut off in the event of a leak
- Additional relays are also available, allowing for extra functionality tailored to specific zones
Example applications: Archive rooms, comms rooms, computer rooms, electrical switch rooms, boiler houses, plant rooms and large data centres.
